Key Job Responsibilities:       

  • Recruit, select, train, manage and motivate managers of the Construction, Purchasing, Customer Service, Estimating and Design Departments
  • Develop Documented Processes for all operational departments
  • Develop strategy to enhance the operations and profitability of the company
  • Guide department heads to ensure their departments are operating at optimal performance
  • Participate in new community and business expansion efforts

Supervision of Others:  

  • Director of Construction
  • Director of Purchasing
  • Customer Service Manager
  • Estimating Manager
  • Director of Design

Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability: 

  • Manages overall departmental budgets and financial results of described areas of responsibility
  • Manages Trade Partner and vendor Master and Project agreements
  • Negotiates Trade Partner and vendor rebate agreements
  • Manages overall system integration and improvements
  • Oversees Housing Production and Warranty Service
  • Assists in Product Development, Estimating and design practices

Qualifications

Education:     

  • Bachelor or Master degree in relevant field.

Experience & Competencies:

  • Minimum ten years management experience, specifically in a homebuilding company with experience in management of Construction, Purchasing, and Customer Relations.
